Medora WISH was created by Don & Pat Clement and Michael & Vicki Zaun with the purpose to create more free opportunities for kids in Medora.
Since its inception, the endowment has grown to $2.2 Million with a goal of $7 Million while gaining an ever-growing list of WISH Wranglers.
NEW THIS YEAR: The WISH Branders option has been introduced with inaugural gifts from the Arthur & Edith Pearson Foundation (Bottineau & Renville Counties) and Myra Foundation (Grand Forks County).
“We must try to find ways to keep costs low for families to attend Medora activities.” —Harold Schafer

Meet Medora’s 2023 WISH Recipient McKenzie!
Medora has a special place in the hearts of many. The beauty, the spectacular entertainment, and the quiet resolve have drawn people in from all over the United States and the World. However, for some, the trip is more than that, the trip is something they have wished for. McKenzie made such a wish and was able to visit Medora on July 13th of this year.
McKenzie and her family participated in quite a few activities in the 24 hours they spent in Medora, from getting lunch at the new Badlands Pizza buffet to taking in the marvelous Medora Magic show, cooling down with ice cream, building a Teddy bear, and finishing the evening with the Pitchfork Steak Fondue and the Medora Musical. This was all possible thanks to our partnership with the Anne Carlsen Center in Jamestown, ND.
