Entry fee is $325 per golfer (charitable deduction of $175 per golfer)
The entry fee for the tournament includes: Round of golf, Golf car rental, Lunch on the golf course, Individual gift bag
4-player scramble format – limited entries

Several on-course games with numerous prizes to be awarded, including major prizes for a hole-in-one on each of the par three holes.
Great prizes in gross and net divisions for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams.

Rod Tjaden and his legacy

Rod Tjaden committed much of his working life to Medora. From 1971 to 1986 he was the Medora Manager for the Gold Seal Company. Rod served as Executive Director for the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation from 1987 through 1997 when he passed away. His vision and leadership helped make Medora one of the top family destinations in the upper Midwest.
Father, husband, friend, loyal employee, boss, jazz lover, and avid golfer – Rod Tjaden will forever be a part of Medora’s history.

Tjaden Educational Assistance Fund

All proceeds go for the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation Tjaden Educational Assistance Fund and for leadership awards!

In 1998, TRMF established the Tjaden Educational Assistance Fund to benefit student employees of the Foundation. The fund is named in honor of longtime Medora leader, Rod Tjaden.

Now in its 20th year, the tournament has been sold out every year. All hole sponsors have their name and/ or logo displayed on a 16×20″ sign at their specific hole. Materials distributed the day of the
tournament also include a listing of all hole sponsors. Becoming a sponsor is a great way to promote your business, benefit a growing scholarship program, and receive a charitable deduction.
