The Teddy Roosevelt Show Endowment

History, Education, and Entertainment for the next generation

American History brought to life.

Every summer since 2012, world-renowned Theodore Roosevelt reprisor Joe Wiegand has brought TR to life at Medora’s Old Town Hall Theater. His show is a masterful blending of history, education, and entertainment — the three pillars we focus on when we create positive, life-changing experiences in Medora.

Joe also hosts the Badlands Chautauqua, where new and younger Theodore Roosevelt reprisors are trained and encouraged to portray TR with the Little Missouri River in their veins.

The future of the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation is full of promise thanks in part to our deliberate focus on endowments. Our endowment funds are carefully managed, positioning TRMF to grow with confidence and stability. The spending rate on investments held for endowments is four percent annually.

Our goal is to one day fully endow the operating expenses of The Teddy Roosevelt Show, allowing us to support the program in perpetuity. Thank you for your consideration of a gift that would help us bring this goal to fruition!
