It is important to Medora that visitors are able to enjoy free outdoor entertainment during their time spent in Medora! Whether they sit down and enjoy a specialty performer, the patio set lineup, interactive kids show, or a living history presentation the Andrist Performing Arts Endowment enriches downtown Medora with a variety of shows and programs.
Not only does the Andrist Performing Arts Endowment sponsor music and living history, it also created the Andrist Stage located behind the Harold Schafer Heritage Center and Elaine’s Garden! This free stage features many talented artists each summer and welcomes people to a beautiful part of town!
The Andrist Performing Arts Endowment was created and initially funded by two very special people to Medora: John and Elaine Andrist.
Their legacy is one of generosity, character, and kindness—and it will help us connect kids and families to delightful, free entertainment for generations to come.
