Teddy Roosevelt is known for a lot of things here in North Dakota. He was a rancher, a cowboy, a frontiersman of sorts, and a friend to a lot of Western North Dakotans. After his time in the North Dakota Badlands, he went on to lead the Rough Riders in the Spanish-American War.
The Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation pays tribute to the name of the Rough Riders through our membership programs. Rough Riders help continue the charge (and mission) of the foundation: To connect people to Historic Medora for positive life-changing experiences.
What does membership do? It helps the TRMF fix boardwalks, repair historic buildings, buy new American Flags, plant flowers, and do hundreds of little things that add up to make a huge difference in the tiny town of Medora.
There are several different ways to become a member. The foundation offers Rough Rider individual memberships, business memberships, and a Junior Rough Rider membership for kids 17 and under.
Each membership level offers something unique! If you’re interested in joining the ranks of the Rough Riders, becoming a business member, or exploring development opportunities in Medora, visit foundation.medora.com/give or contact our development team at (701) 223-4800.
